National heroes have a lasting and influential role in shaping, preserving and transmitting religious and cultural values. The importance of influential people in various scientific, artistic, social, political and military fields has always been considered by researchers. The aim of present study was to identify the behavioral and school characteristics and achievements of General Soleimani. Qualitative method of thematic analysis has been used to conduct this research. Research data in the form of books, articles, lectures, and interviews were analyzed using Atlas.ti software. The data were classified into three main categories in the form of personality-behavioral characteristics, school characteristics, and achievements. "Courage", "humility", "not belonging to the world", and "hardworking" are the most important personality-behavioral characteristics of Gneral Soleimani. Also, two dimensions of "leadership-orientation" and "revolutionary spirit" were identified as his school characteristics. In addition, General Soleimani's achievements were classified into five dimensions: "spiritual achievements", "cultural achievements", "holy defense achievements", "national achievements" and "transnational achievements". "Reviving the revolution", "reviving the memory of the martyrs", "human resource development", "creating unity in society" and "neutralizing the US plan in the region" are the most important achievements of this high-ranking martyr, respectively.
