Since the Islamic Revolution triumph, the US-led hegemonic, with supports of some countries in the region, has designed and pursued processes to limit the Islamic Republic of Iran in national, regional and international dimensions. On the other hand, the geopolitical expansion of Resistance Axis has been the strategic thinking of the Islamic Republic of Iran to deal with the complex, hybrid and multifaceted threats of the hegemonic and its regional allies.
Hence, investigating factors affecting this issue is essential. In this regard, this applied-developmental study by case-based approach aims to explain "effects of Shahid Haj Qasem Soleimani’s jihad on the geopolitical expansion of Resistance Axis".
The results show that Sardar Shahid Soleimani’s jihad and his role in advancing the region strategies of Iran through designing a unique strategy based on combining semi-military and government force, in addition to developing the discourse and deepening Islamic revolution’s scopes, has deepened Iran's geopolitical influence and increased national, regional and international authority. This approach, in addition to overcoming the terrorist groups supported by the Hebrew-Arabic-Western current, confronts the geopolitical environment and the hegemonic’s influence with a strategic dilemma and has revealed the anti-terrorist nature of the Resistance Axis to the world and has distinguished between violent Islam and anti-violence Islam.
